Bob Mackie Wearable Art at QVC. Here is your sneak peek at three brand
new items that will launch the SMART DENIM line:
THE JACKET:
Slightly
cropped, with a clean neck and a zip front. Princess seams lead into
an adorable pocket and the ¾ length sleeves have a zip detail at the
bottom. I love this jacket. It is so easy to wear and it goes with
everything!
THE PANT:
Your
upscale pair of jeans! A double button front closure with a slight
elasticized waist. Pockets that are in the perfect spot and look at the
movement you get. What other pair of jeans do you have that allow you
to feel so comfortable but also fit and hug your body the way a pair of
jeans should? The minute I put these on I felt classy, chic and sexy
all at once!
THE VEST:
With
Bob Mackie’s art work on the front in his signature paisley swirls,
finished with a metallic thread and sequin detail. Wear this one open
under a crisp button down shirt or how about a thin woven turtleneck for
the fall?
THE FABRIC:
56%
cotton, 35% polyester & 9% spandex! That is the trademarked recipe
for Smart Denim. You know how rigid some denims can feel? Pardon my
frankness, but sometimes my thick jeans ride up in places that they
should not and the way they can cut the skin at the waist or behind the
knee can be so uncomfortable. You will love how this feels on. The
fabric is knitted but cross-dyed, achieving a denim look with more
vibrant color. The stretch goes in all directions, so when you bend
down, the back rise will not be pulled down and the knees will not be
tight. You get extra comfort, yet it is not like a washed out denim…it
is more dressy so it will go to the office, dinner, shopping and so much
more....
