In February, Bob Mackie was interviewed by Joseph Cotto for a
two-part feature in The Washington Times Communities. During their chat, Bob
discussed his inspiration for becoming a designer, the challenges he has
faced, his first "Big Break", and lots more.
One of our favorite quotes from the interview:
"...I think clothes can be so boring, and very often
they are. I try very hard to, within today’s fashion, make them less
boring and more fun to wear and beautiful colors and maybe an
embellishment here or there that makes it really exciting."
