• Wear it well Wednesday... ask Margaux... patterns of life

I was in New York last week to catch up on the newest creations from Bob Mackie.  Bob's creativity and artistic eye never cease to amaze me.  As I left, stimulated by the gorgeous designs that he has created I was more aware of how we enjoy beautiful designs in nature every day.  Just like the variegated greens and ivory of a hosta leaf:

It's easy to see why Bob Mackie is so inspired by nature... the patterns are all around us and let me tell you, it's a celebration of pattern for June and August.  Here are some sneak peeks of what's in store for his QVC Wearable Art Collection:

There's a fun little skirt for this one... for the flirty side of you, with just a tee shirt and flip flops... great for a summer day!

A divine and elegant caftan for this pattern.  It literally floats on your body and says glamour from head to toe!

A little bit of a mod design, with delicious colors... you'll love the spandex stretch for this top.

Leave it to Bob to mix an old classic with a new... the houndstooth in an animal print.  This top is so adorable with sleeve that you will just love!

Just take in the art!  You could frame that as it is and hang it on your wall.  The brush strokes bring every bit of femininity to this sheer drawstring caftan... perfect for poolside or at the beach over your swimwear.

Eye catching colors and shapes against black for this easy to wear, figure flattering dress.  Wear it with or without the belt for versatility.

Over the next couple of weeks I will post more photos of myself in some of these new items.  You can't get them yet, but they're coming.  I know this is a tease, but you'll just have to tune in for Bob's upcoming shows:  Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 1 – 3 p.m. ET and  Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 5 – 7 a.m., 6 – 8 p.m. ET... and more to come in August!  I hope you are having a wonderful week!

    Cheers Margaux!
