• BOB MACKIE-- LIVE!

    Hello All!

Margaux, here, to bring you a recap of Bob's Live Wearable Art Show at QVC last Friday. Did you happen to catch it or were you one of the lucky ones who got to be a part of the Mackie Magic? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below. I definitely had a blast. People can usually call in during the regular shows to speak to Bob and the hosts, but this was a rare opportunity for the audience to see how the show gets made and for them to interact with Bob in person. The live studio audience was full of excitement and brought in all of their enthusiasm to see Bob and be a part of the show. They were already decked out in their own Wearable Art as well as the Mackie silk scarves they received as gifts.

The effervescent Jacque Gonzales hosted the show and the lovely Carolyn Gracie was on hand to talk to the audience. They were both out there with Bob before the live broadcast started and of course, the fun started immediately.

Bob loved seeing his fans in Mackie Wearable Art.

In fact, some of them were even asked to join Bob and the models on stage.

You can see the how much Bob enjoys meeting the ladies that he designs for.  He truly is so passionate about what he does and the people he does it for.  That was abundantly clear when he stayed on after the show to sign autographs for a meet and greet.

And of course, even Barbie made an appearance.

What did you like best about the show? What did you get for yourself?  One of the favorites was the jacket that Jacque and Carolyn were wearing---The Santa Fe Jacket with gorgeous embroidery.  Here it is in the color Spice:

According to Bob, "This cotton shirt jacket with Southwest embroidery was inspired by the culture and romance of old Santa Fe. It can be worn all buttoned up as a blouse, or over a tank or tee as a jacket. For those colder days, it'd look great over a turtleneck sweater." There are still a good amount of sizes left in several colors.  While you are there, be sure to check out Bob's Wearable Art line for great items that he just brought in for the fall.  If you want to shop with him today, Monday Oct 7th, be sure to tune in to QVC at 9 AM (eastern time).  He is on for a full hour.

What a great way to start your week, right?  I wish you a great week! I'll be back with some "Wear it Well" advice on Wednesday.

    Best,

    Margaux
