Over the last couple of months I have had several requests for the use of feathers in the floral decor of some special events that I have done. It's definitely something that I've done before and I always love that touch of softness that feathers add to a floral arrangement. It also adds lovely texture that enhances the overall look. Designers who have made bold contributions to the fashion community were asked to lend their most iconic pieces. Happy Birthday to one of Mackie's favorite muses, Cher! For over forty years, Cher and Bob have maintained not just a wonderful working relationship, but have also nurtured a close friendship. The holiday season is always one long party. What better way to celebrate than with an homage to some of history's most extravagant movers and shakers? The famed New York City luxury department store, Bergdorf Goodman, did just that with their window displays. Entitled The BG Follies of 2012, the theme revolves around vaudeville, the Ziegfeld Follies, and the musicals of Busby Berkely. Naturally, there was a Mackie element amidst the spectacular displays.
