Okay my friends, I'm over it! There, I've said it. I'm talking about the weather. I'm not usually one to complain about the weather, but this winter is lasting forever!!! It just doesn't seem to want to end. It's getting so bad for me that I am looking at pictures of warm sunny beaches just to make myself feel better. So, let's pretend... just a fun little moment to take our minds off of the nasty weather. If you could go anywhere to escape the cold, damp yucky weather, where would it be? Here is a nice beach photo...

Hello Mackie lovers! For anyone who enjoys vintage glamour with a twist, check out the looks from a recent wedding I had the pleasure to be a part of. A February wedding, on a snowy weekend, in Philadelphia, that was the combination of retro chic and gatsby glam. The bridesmaids all wore a body fitted gown with beaded embellishments. In many cases it’s versions of gorgeous one of a kind pieces that he has designed for celebrities. If you tuned into one of the January shows on QVC you saw Bob’s Embroidered Bombay Tunic. It’s Item A2304. I wore it in red and there are now 9 colors to choose from in this highly rated tunic. Pink and light Aqua are the two new colors: When we...

Hello Friends. I recently had a question about one of Bob’s designs that I thought I would share in case some of you were wondering the same thing. Monica from New Jersey recently purchased her first Bob Mackie Wearable Art silhouette. She ordered Bob’s Jeweled collar Ikat Print Split Neck Caftan. She loves the dress, and told me that she chose it because of the gorgeous colors and how they create the beautiful design. Her question was what is Ikat? Great question. We don’t all know what that means and it’s a defining feature of this particular caftan. Ikat refers...
