Last week, to showcase the eclectic inspiration behind her Material Girl line, the Macy's in Century City, Los Angeles, hosted a special one night only event- a retrospective of Madonna's most famous outfits. Only eight outfits were on display and Bob's glamorous dress was a fan favorite! For two hours, fans got a chance to get up close and personal with some of the singer's iconic ensembles, including the incredible white pearl-encrusted Bob Mackie dress she wore to the 1991 Oscars. The holiday season is always one long party. What better way to celebrate than with an homage to some of history's most extravagant movers and shakers? The famed New York City luxury department store, Bergdorf Goodman, did just that with their window displays. Entitled The BG Follies of 2012, the theme revolves around vaudeville, the Ziegfeld Follies, and the musicals of Busby Berkely. Naturally, there was a Mackie element amidst the spectacular displays.
