• Wear it well Wednesday... ask Margaux: COLOR

How was your holiday weekend?  What did you do?  We dodged most of the thunderstorms in our area that were looming because of the crazy heat and humidity.  That meant a lot of outdoor time, barbecuing and swimming.  It's always sad to wind down and say goodbye to summer, but it is exciting to greet that fall crisp air and the fashion that comes along with it.

My reporting of the top ten must haves continue and next up we have COLOR!  Something bold in particular.  Something that lifts your spirits and says "watch out world... here I come and I look great".  Some of us wear color more than others and certainly some of us feel more comfortable in color than others.  What is your color to wear and why?  How does it make you feel?  I'd love for you to share with others so they might get some ideas and encouragement for things to try.

It's easy with Bob Mackie.  As you know he is not afraid of color... In fact when it comes to fashion, there is no fear.  So, there are some really nice choices to add to your autumn wardrobe that offers color.

How about a great little, easy to wear dress?  This is red.

    PinkPurple  Turquoise  Kiwi

This is Bob's Asymmetrical Zebra Print Dress.  It's done in 100% cotton with a great length.  I could see this all jazzed up with an opaque tights and a little pair of ballet flats or a boot.  The figure flattering diagonal design, enhanced with a sprinkle of sequins, is a Mackie favorite which gives you that perfect pop of animal print.  I was so excited about these colors I had to show them all!  Look for item #234057.

Maybe it's a top for you!  This is Bob's v-neck, beaded tunic (#A234062) which also comes in fabulous bold colors:

    This is Santa Fe orange

and dark turquoise,  that I wanted to show you in the close up shot so you can see the absolutely beautiful detail of the beading.  This is what makes it a Mackie.  The design is so unique and done so well you're going to have to get it home so you can look up close and see it.  Everything about this neckline screams couture, feminine, bold and a bit whimsical.

Of course you can always visit Bob's entire Wearable Art collection on QVC.  Be sure to ark your calendars now for Bob's next return and a chance to see more, and some brand new ideas.

If anyone has any questions about color please send me an email on Facebook.  I am here to help!  I hope you enjoy this short week as well.... and remember the school buses are out now... watch out for the little ones!

I adore the Asymmetrical Zebra design in red! I don’t watch QVC. I am familiar with the Mackie designs for stage. One word: Fabulous!
