Carol Burnett Wins Mark Twain Prize for American Humor

We, at Bob Mackie Design Group, want to extend our sincerest congratulations to our favorite funny lady, Carol Burnett, on her achievement of The Mark Twain Prize for American Humor this past weekend.

Bob and Carol collaborated together on The Carol Burnett Show, creating some of the most memorable characters and costumes in sketch comedy history. From Princess Winifred to Starlett O'Hara, to Mrs. Wiggins, Bob and Carol have succeeded in bringing laughter into American homes for nearly fifty years.

The ceremony brought together the best of comedy's veterans and current stars, such as Julie Andrews, Martin Short, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler to honor their friend and idol. We are so very happy for Carol. Her wit and charm is truly deserving of our country's highest accolade for humor.

PBS will air the The Kennedy Center ceremony on November 24, 2013. Check your local listings for times.
